I can't help that I like them - it was all I knew growing up in San Angelo and Longview - It wasn't til I got to D/FW that I new guys wore sneakers and had pants other than Dickies or jeans.
My Grandpa used to refuse to pick up hitchhikers who weren't wearing a cowboy hat. He'd say, "Cain't trust a man goes out in the sun with no hat on".
I s*** you not...his exact words.
