Isn't that the same hat he had on two posts ago?

You'd think a star of Garth Brooks magnitude could afford more than two...

Okay, Dennie. It's out of my system now. Honest...

LOL

Hey, JU, I thinks he's been wearing that same hat for about five different pictures! Damn, but it's gonna itch like crazy when it dries out...

HEY - what's that about Texas thang? Yeah, well our Texas thangs are bigger than anybody elses.

Yeah! What Eve said!

Look, Johnny U's from Brazoria County, where the Republic of Texas was born. That's why I can tell you...with 100% certainty...this guy can be summed up in two words:

Rhinestone + Cowboy

All those seeking to learn about country music, feel free to audit my Country 101 course. Required listening is as follows:

Willie Nelson - 'Red Headed Stranger'

Waylon Jennings - 'Honky Tonk Heroes'

Johnny Cash - 'At Folsom Prison'

Hank Williams Jr. - 'Songs My Father Left Me'

Lather...rinse...repeat.

But, you know, this whole thing isn't about the music, is it?

Fine, whatever...WhatsHisName rules!

WhatsHisName . . . at least he's under 40, 50, hell, 60 for that matter

I am far too young for any of those guys for drool sessions - I don't think my parents even met before the first moon landing - those guys were all established by then... not saying they're so old ... but ... pass the Geritol

Don't get me wrong - he can sing - oh yeah ... but there is a point where we say who really cares if he can sing...

THAAAANK YOU! My point, exactly.

I'm only 31 (only?). But I wanted to be sure we established the difference between the actual time honored genre of country music and the phenomenon of Pretty Boys in Hats. As long as we agree that never the twain shall meet...
