Oot and a-boot
(Sorry to all my Canadian friends for my literary license)

Last night Cece and I saw Chris Cagle again! Man is he HOT. And I'm not just talking about the fever he was running. The man can put on one hell of a show even when he has a cold - that's a true performer. I do have to wonder how he is feeling this morning as he was liberally going back and forth between beer (that the audience was more than happy to supply) and Cloreseptic spray - EW!
He did get through the show with that though. But that has to be one massive hangover!
He played several of the songs off his new album and old faves from his first two. It is such a great experience when the entire crowd knows all the worlds to a performer's songs and drown him out from time to time.

Can't wait to see him again! WOOHOO!!

Had to add on - in whiner mode... I have the worst headache. It is a smoke filled club, loud rockin' Country music, women screaming their friggin heads off (yeah, I was one of them, too), kids woke me at six after getting home at one-thirty, too young to feel this damn old (thanks Garth) mind hangover. But I loved every minute of it - especially when we (Cece really but I know she has to be right) heard a slight to the nasty ex in one of the songs - I love controversy - and it shall make an interesitng subtext in my book inspired by that song and oh yeah, that man!

s'all I'm saying...

Sounds like fun. Don't you feel sorry for performers having to sing in smokey places, especially when they're ill? The smoke keeps me away, but I love live performances if I can be near the stage. Glad you got to see your hero. Hmm, doesn't the hero in your mss. look a lot like Chris? Coincidence? I don't think so!

Coincidence? why no :-)

- I figure if I'm gonna fantasize about the man anyway might as well be productive and use him in my book - makes some of the scenes a little more ... fun to write!!

Woo Hoo! Sounds like you had a great time. Always good to get away and be yourself and not someone's mom or wife...and get good eye candy in the process, LOL!
